The celebrated chef embraces global flavours with a relaxed, alfresco concept this summer.

This summer, London welcomes a new culinary chapter from one of the world’s most celebrated chefs. From 1 July to 30 September, Yannick Alléno brings Battuta to life on the sun-drenched terrace of Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, just steps from his Michelin-starred Pavyllon.

The seasonal pop-up is a tribute to the legendary explorer Ibn Battuta, whose 14th-century voyages spanned continents and cultures, covering more than 70,000 miles. Reflecting the spirit of discovery, Battuta offers an eclectic, no-waste menu inspired by Middle Eastern, North African, and Asian cuisines, all served sharing-style in a laid-back setting that champions sustainability and seasonality, with a focus on grilled meats and seafood. Several dishes are presented tableside.

Expect dishes designed for storytelling and connection, such as Samosas with mango and black sesame, Etlimek Flatbread topped with spiced meats and herb yoghurt, Couscous with clams and green sauce, and Noodle Soup with Chinese greens. Dessert is no afterthought; the crispy Kadaifi with Cardamom Ice Cream rounds off the meal on a sweet note.

“Ibn Battuta was a remarkably inspiring figure who journeyed across continents in the 14th century, bridging cultures and cuisines through exploration. That same sense of discovery runs through the heart of Battuta, where global flavours come together in every dish,” says Alléno.

The terrace mirrors the concept with earthy tones, artisanal finishes and warm summer energy, making it one of the season’s most stylish dining destinations. Open daily from noon to midnight, Battuta is your passport to a flavour-packed summer in the heart of Mayfair.

Battuta by Yannick Alléno will be open daily from 12pm to midnight.
