The 2024 MICHELIN Guide Great Britain and Ireland now includes 1,162 restaurants.

London is one of the world’s greatest dining destinations, and has the MICHELIN seal of approval. The 2024 MICHELIN Guide Great Britain and Ireland was unveiled in Manchester’s Midland Hotel, and marked the 50th anniversary of the guide. The guide now includes 1,162 restaurants, and the capital received 14 new stars.

London’s new MICHELIN-starred restaurants included ten new one-star restaurants, three new two-star restaurants and one new three-star restaurant. The new restaurants include The Ledbury, which was awarded three stars; Brooklands, Gymkhana and Trivet were awarded two stars; and Akoko, Aulis, Chishuru, Dorian, Humble Chicken, Humo, Mountain, Ormer, Pavyllon, Restaurant 1890, and Sushi Kanesaka were awarded one star.

The Ledbury in Notting Hill scored one of the evening’s biggest accolades. After the fine dining British restaurant opened in 2022, it won two MICHELIN Stars. Now, it is the sixth restaurant in London to receive three stars.

The full list of three MICHELIN Star restaurants included Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester; CORE by Clare Smyth; Fat Duck, Bray; Hélène Darroze at The Connaught; L’Enclume, Cartmel; Restaurant Gordon Ramsay; Sketch, The Lecture Room & Library; and Waterside Inn, Bray.

Gymkhana in Mayfair has made history as the first Indian restaurant to win two MICHELIN Stars. Brooklands in Mayfair is created by the French chef, Claude Bosi, and Trivet in Southwark is by former Fat Duck chef Johnny Lake.

20 new Bib Gourmands were also announced. The London list included Empire Empire, and Les 2 Garcons. Six new restaurants were awarded Green Stars. The London list included St Barts.
