Jeremy King. The name instantly conjures up images of the great and good of London’s dining scene, from Simpson’s in the Strand to The Wolseley. Now, Jeremy has unveiled Romano’s, and food lovers are already excited.

Located inside Simpson’s in the Strand, Romano’s is set to open on 30 March 2026. Following the successful launch of The Grand Divan, Jeremy is behind one of the capital’s most anticipated new openings.

Romano’s sits on the first floor in what was previously known as The West Room. It has now been reimagined as a British restaurant with a more accessible price point while retaining its grand, elegant identity. The setting is expected to be spectacular – we're talking statement lighting, generous windows and an airy feel.

The menu will feature British dishes. Take your pick from Scotch egg with coronation mayonnaise, to a Pie of the Day – why not? Fillings will range from fish pie to beef shin, snail, and garlic pie. As for pricing, Roast Beef is £29.75, while a three-course set menu is £24.75.

Jeremy King is currently working on a number of projects. In 2022, Corbin & King was acquired by Minor Hotels, which now works with the Wolseley Hospitality Group and is set to launch four new hotel brands. Meanwhile, the Colbert Collection is expected to expand into the Middle East, although the exact location has yet to be confirmed.
