Love Supreme Jazz Festival will also welcome Loyle Carner, Sister Sledge and The Temptations.
Love Supreme Jazz Festival is bringing soulful sounds to Glynde Place, East Sussex. Taking place from 3 to 5 July, it has already announced Ezra Collective and Loyle Carner. Now, it has added De La Soul to the line-up. Tickets are available now, and here’s what to expect.
De La Soul hail from New York, United States. The group are celebrated for their socially conscious lyrics and hip-hop sounds. Formed in 1987, the group includes Posdnuos, Trugoy the Dove, and Maseo. Their debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising, showcased their sound to the world, which combined jazz, funk, and soul.
The group's hits include "Me, Myself and I" and "The Magic Number." Over their career, they have also collaborated with artists including Gorillaz and Pete Rock. Now, they will be playing the Love Supreme Jazz Festival, and this marks their only show in the United Kingdom this year.

If you'd like to catch other acts at Love Supreme Jazz Festival, here's what you need to know. On 3 July, the festival opens with headliners Ezra Collective. They are no strangers to Love Supreme and return more than 10 years after their first appearance, when they were a new act. The group have curated the opening-day line-up themselves, selecting artists that reflect their own musical tastes. The acts include Annie & The Caldwells, DJ Luke Una, Kokoroko, and Moses Boyd. Newly announced additions include Alex Isley, a DJ set by Anderson .Paak, and Durand Bernarr.
On 4 July, Loyle Carner headlines with his signature jazz-infused hip-hop. His hits include Loose Ends and You Don’t Know. Highlights also include Courtney Pine, Esperanza Spalding, Franc Moody, and Jalen Ngonda. And, in a rare joint performance, The Temptations and The Four Tops will bring their classic hits to the festival.

And, on 5 July, De La Soul will close the event as headliners. The line-up also features Gabrielle, Free Nationals, Samara Joy, and Sister Sledge, along with musicians Antonio Farao, Joe Lovano, and Kiefer.
Love Supreme offers a fantastic family-friendly day out. Spend the day and evening at the festival and enjoy a range of experiences – from swing dance classes to yoga sessions. There will also be artist talks and interviews throughout the weekend.
