Europe’s largest outdoor jazz festival returns to Glynde Place in East Sussex in July 2026.

Love Supreme Jazz Festival is coming back to Glynde Place in East Sussex next summer, and the first wave of artists has now been revealed. From Friday 3 July to Sunday 5 July 2026, the event will once again turn the Sussex countryside into a celebration of jazz, soul and global sounds, with some of the genre’s most exciting names already locked in.

The initial lineup spans cult favourites, jazz royalty and boundary-pushing newcomers. Among the first artists announced are Loyle Carner, Ezra Collective, Jalen Ngonda, Samara Joy, The Temptations & The Four Tops, Kokoroko, Esperanza Spalding, Moses Boyd, Annie & The Caldwells, The War and Treaty, Luke Una, D.K. Harrell and Carrtoons.

For the first time, Love Supreme will present three full days of main stage programming. Opening the festival on Friday are Ezra Collective, who step up for a landmark headline performance. The Brit Award and Mercury Prize-winning group first appeared at Love Supreme in 2016, a set they describe as a turning point in their career. Since then, they have returned for standout shows in 2018 and 2022, and have risen to become one of the country’s most celebrated jazz outfits. For 2026, they are not only headlining but also curating the festival’s opening day, which they have titled Temple Of Joy.

The Temple Of Joy programme will spotlight some of the artists closest to the band’s sound and story. The first names confirmed include UK Afrobeat collective Kokoroko, double MOBO Award-winning drummer and producer Moses Boyd, influential UK DJ Luke Una and Mississippi soul outfit Annie & The Caldwells. Speaking about their return, Ezra Collective said: “Love Supreme has always held a very special place in our hearts. It was one of the first festivals where we played to a large audience, and the energy, joy, and connection with the crowd are unlike anywhere else. Coming back as main stage headliners feels like a full circle moment for us and we’re honoured to have been asked to bring some of our favourite bands and artists along to perform alongside us that day.”

Saturday’s main stage belongs to Loyle Carner. The multi-award-winning British rapper and songwriter arrives at Love Supreme following a sold-out four-night run at Brixton Academy, a Glastonbury headline appearance and the release of his Top Five album Hopefully. Known for his reflective, jazz-infused production and emotionally honest storytelling, he has become one of the defining UK voices of his generation. On joining the festival line up, Loyle Carner said: “Love Supreme’s been on my list of festivals to play for ages, I always see so many people I love on the line up. Feels like a rare one, that celebrates all the music I hold close. Catch you in July!”

Beyond the headline sets, the 2026 edition will showcase a mix of international and homegrown talent. Highlights from the first announcement include five-time Grammy-winning vocalist Samara Joy, a special joint performance from Motown greats The Temptations and The Four Tops, rising UK-based soul singer Jalen Ngonda, and pioneering US bassist and vocalist Esperanza Spalding, with many more acts still to be revealed.
