The line-up includes Disney’s The Lion King, Hamilton and Les Misérables.


The curtain is coming up on West End Live. London is famous for its theatre scene, which includes some of the world’s greatest musicals. During the festival, visitors will be able to watch performers from shows for free. Taking place from 21 to 22 June 2025, the event is held in Trafalgar Square. 

West End Live is presented by Westminster City and the Society of London Theatre, with the support of the Mayor of London. During the event, visitors will be able to sample shows and decide which show is for them.  

The full schedule and running times will be announced one week before the event. So far, the list of long-running productions includes The Addams Family, Back To The Future The Musical, The Book Of Mormon, Burlesque The Musical, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Disney’s The Lion King, Fiddler On The Roof, The Great Gatsby, Mamma Mia!, Matilda The Musical, Les Misérables, MJ The Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, The Phantom Of The Opera, Starlight Express, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical and Wicked. 

The list of new productions includes Clueless, Disney’s Hercules, My Neighbour Totoro, and The Devil Wears Prada. Additionally, it will feature performers from the award-winning Hamilton

Councillor Tim Roca, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Young People, Learning and Leisure, explained: “West End Live is a highlight of the Westminster calendar, so we’re very excited to invite fans to another weekend of incredible live performances in Trafalgar Square. Westminster City Council is committed to making live theatre, culture and the arts accessible for all of our communities, and events like this are a fantastic celebration of the world-class theatre we have right on our doorstep.”

If you need to refuel, West End Live will also have food and drink stalls. Visitors are welcome to bring their own snacks, but please note that alcohol is not permitted. The event takes place on 21 June from 11am to 5pm, and 22 June from midday to 5pm.
