While rumours are swirling about future Secret Cinema experiences, the next one has finally been confirmed. This summer sees the revival of last year’s smash hit, Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical.
The previous production proved a huge success and is now back, hoping to create the same magical moments for moviegoers. Audiences are encouraged to engage with the film, from singing along to dressing up. It’s not just about the screening of the film – the team create an immersive experience with a recreation of the sets, alongside live performers, singers and dancers, all bringing the story vividly to life.
Grease is a classic musical set in 1950s America, following the romance between Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson. Starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, it gained a devoted following. After a summer romance, they unexpectedly reunite at school, but Danny struggles to maintain his tough image in front of his gang. Friendships are tested and identities explored, as the film brings to life iconic songs and energetic dance numbers.
