Get ready for Mumford and Sons. The British folk band will head out on tour and headline BST at Hyde Park. They will also share the stage with War on Drugs, and more guests will be announced soon. The show takes place on 4 July 2026, and here’s how to get hold of tickets.

This marks Mumford and Sons’ first tour since before the COVID-19 pandemic. The headline set comes alongside the release of the band’s new album, Prizefighter. Released in February 2026, the songs include The Banjo Song and Run Together. The collaborations include Here with Chris Stapleton and Rubber Band Man with Hozier.

Mumford and Sons formed in West London in 2007 and were part of the folk scene that centred around small venues, open-mic nights and acoustic jam sessions. The group met while performing alongside other rising artists in the capital. They quickly gained a reputation for high-energy performances filled with harmonies, folk, rock and their signature stomp-and-clap sound.

The band was created by Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall and Ted Dwane. They took their name from Marcus Mumford, who often handled much of the organisation in their early days, giving the group a traditional, family-run feel.

In 2009, they released their debut album, Sigh No More. It catapulted them to global recognition and earned both critical and commercial success. Their hit songs include I Will Wait and Little Lion Man. In 2012, they won their first Grammy for Album of the Year for Babel.
