The Dubai chocolate brand that swept through social media is heading to Harrods in Knightsbridge. From 27 October to 23 November 2025, the luxury department store will host an exclusive pop-up by FIX Dessert Chocolatier in London.
Famous for its bold colours and inventive flavours, FIX Dessert Chocolatier has become a firm favourite in the UAE and beyond. Now, it’s bringing its signature flavours to one of the world’s most iconic department stores. The FIX Dessert Chocolatier London pop-up has been created in partnership with Imagine FMCG.
Sarah Hamouda, Co-Founder of FIX Dessert Chocolatier, explained: “This is such a full-circle moment. FIX has always been about blending cultures – in this case, my London upbringing and Egyptian heritage with Dubai’s unstoppable energy. Launching our first international pop-up with Harrods just felt right. We can’t wait to see how UK customers react when they step into our world.”
In an interview with FACT Magazine, she explained: “FIX is all about creating an experience. We take beloved Middle Eastern and global desserts and transform them into dessert chocolate bars with unexpected textures and flavours. Every bar tells a story, whether it’s the crunch of knafeh, the silkiness of mahalabia or the comforting richness of a brownie. It’s about more than just chocolate, it’s about bringing joy and nostalgia to every bite”.
It took Sarah a lot of hard work and a TikTok video with more than 100 million views (and counting) to create the social media sensation, FIX Dessert Chocolatier. The British Egyptian lived in the United Kingdom and moved to the United Arab Emirates. Following pregnancy cravings, the #DubaiChocolate trend was born – a chunky bar with Jackson Pollock-style specs, and a gorgeous, gooey filling. Can’t Get Knafeh was the OG, and launched a thousand copycats.
