The festival blends hip-hop, jazz, funk, and soul.

Little Simz has been making a name for herself on both stage and screen. Following her successful curation of the Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre earlier this year, the rapper has announced a new show – she will headline the Cross the Tracks 2026 festival on Sunday, 24 May 2026.

The festival blends hip-hop, jazz, funk, and soul. Taking place in Brockwell Park in South London, it will also feature the Afrobeat collective Kokoroko and Nigerian-born, London-based performer Obongjayar.

Other names include 2fox (live), Bel Cobain, Bricknasty, Brooke Combe, Channel One, Franky Bones Ensemble, Goya Gumbani, Lady Wray, Reek0, Sholto, Sonnyjim, The Womack Sisters and Zena.

Little Simz headline slot at Cross the Tracks follows the release of her acclaimed sixth album, Lotus. It comes amid her biggest tour to date, which includes performances across the United Kingdom at major venues such as London’s The O2 and Manchester’s Co-op Live.

Hailing from Islington, London, Little Simz has built her reputation as both an actor and a rapper. She has starred in the Netflix series Top Boy, and her music combines rap with jazz and R&B influences. Her previous albums include A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons and Stillness in Wonderland. She swept the awards circuit with Grey Area in 2019, taking home Best Album at the Ivor Novello and NME Awards. Plus, Sometimes I Might Be an Introvert claimed the Mercury Prize in 2021.

If you love live music, plenty of global stars are scheduled to perform in London in 2026. Earl Sweatshirt will perform at The Exhibition in London on 13, British rap star Dave takes to the stage at The O2 on 6 and 7 March, Wu-Tang Clan will perform at The O2 on 17 March, and The Weeknd: 14 and 15 August 2026 brings his After Hours Til Dawn tour to Wembley Stadium on 14 and 15 August.
