James Blake will perform in London for just one night.
James Blake just released his latest album, Trying Times, and announced the dates and stops for his upcoming world tour. Blake will perform his first self-released album on a global stage, with a headline show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton this autumn.
The songwriter and producer will take to the stage on 29 September 2026 for one night only at the O2 Academy Brixton. He will then stop in Glasgow on 21 October, Manchester on 25 October and Bristol on 28 October. Other European stops include Utrecht, Brussels, Berlin and Cologne.
On Trying Times, Blake draws inspiration from both pop and classic R&B for a work that primarily explores themes of love and existential dread. His work has historically intertwined dance music with singer-songwriter melodies - and he is well-loved for being able to do so with such skill and ease.
His latest LP lands in the middle of this organised chaos, fusing Dizzee Rascal samples with his hauntingly beautiful lyrics, and Dave’s rap verses with powerful messages. Blake is best known for this authenticity and individual sound, one that cannot be replicated or mimicked. His work evokes a vast array of human emotions, prompting introspection while also providing musical relief through stunning vocals and complex rhythms.
Blake hails from London, and his hit songs include "Don’t Miss It," "Godspeed," "King’s Dead", and "Retrograde." His albums include Assume Form, Friends That Break Your Heart, and Playing Robots Into Heaven. Over his career, he has worked as a songwriter and on production for other artists, including Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Travis Scott. He has also won two Grammy Awards and the Mercury Prize and has been nominated for three BRIT Awards.
Presale starts on Tuesday, 17 March at 11am, and general sale on Friday, 20 March at 10am.
