Get ready for some action-packed fun. Jurassic World: The Experience is coming to Battersea Power Station in London. Opening on 23 May, it will feel like you are stepping back in time, and onto the set of Steven Spielberg’s film franchise.
Jurassic World: The Experience has been produced with Neon. The immersive experience brings together state-of-the-art installations and special effects. During the experience, guests will feel like they are transported into the classic films.
Board the ferry to Isla Nublar, walk through the Jurassic Gates, and explore the land of Gentle Giants. There are plenty of Insta-worthy moments, as you can meet baby dinosaurs as well as life-size predators – a Tyrannosaurus Rex, anyone?
In 1990, Michael Crichton released his science fiction book, Jurassic Park. In 1993, the film adaption was released by Steven Spielberg. The original film starred Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Richard Attenborough. The story follows the wealthy businessman, John Hammond, who has created a theme park – the only catch is that it has brought to life extinct dinosaurs.
The film spawned a range of sequels, which explore the themes of science, struggles and survival. Plus, there is theme park attraction, Jurassic Park: The Ride – with fake dinosaurs, of course – at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Battersea Power Station has undergone a major redevelopment. The station and the surrounding area have been transformed with love and a touch of luxe. The once-lost landmark of London is now home to world-class restaurants, residences and hotels. Plus, it opened its own London Underground station.
Jurassic World: The Experience opens from Monday to Thursday from 10am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm, and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Tickets are available now.
