Catch Memphis Grizzlies against Orlando Magic.
If there’s one thing London knows how to do well, it’s host major sporting events. From Wimbledon to the Premier League, the capital has long been a hub for global sport. And now, for the first time since 2019, the NBA is making its long-awaited return to England.
The NBA is officially landing in London and Manchester. As part of the return, the Memphis Grizzlies will face off against the Orlando Magic at London’s O2 Arena on Sunday, 18 January 2026. It will mark the 19th NBA game in the UK and the 10th regular-season game in London, further cementing the capital’s place on the league’s global tour.
This clash will form part of a broader European schedule, which also includes a match in Berlin. Then, in 2027, the action moves to Manchester’s Co-op Live, marking the first-ever NBA regular-season game in the city.

The Memphis Grizzlies are bringing stars such as Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, along with rising talents like Zach Edey, Jaylen Wells, and Cedric Coward. The Orlando Magic will feature Paolo Banchero, the Wagner brothers, and Jalen Suggs, to name just a few.
In addition to the matches, there will be a range of other NBA events taking place. These include NBA Cares community outreach, youth basketball clinics, and coaching and referee development programmes. Brands like Tissot, Nike, PlayStation, and Emirates are also coming on board as partners — so fans can expect fan zones, interactive experiences, and a full weekend of basketball festivities.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or just discovering the sport, this is one event you won’t want to miss. Tickets for the matches will go on sale soon, so keep your eyes on FACT for all the latest details.
