Located in the boutique hotel, the bar will boast art and DJs.
The Mandrake has made a name for itself as a beautiful boutique hotel. Located in Fitzrovia, it is packed with personality and a playful vibe – an ostrich statue in a restaurant, anyone? Now, it is set to open a new bar, and here’s what we know.
The name and opening date for the bar in The Mandrake has not yet been confirmed. So far, we know that the bar will be a haven for art lovers, and host exhibitions with artists from around the world. Look out for the art events, which are likely to take place each Thursday. The venue will be a mix of kooky and kinky, with 1970s vibes. Plus, guests will be entertained with local as well as international live DJs.
The Mandrake is located near Oxford Street and the area’s top shops and sights. The hotel is filled with creative touches, from the design and décor to the restaurant and bar. Executive Chef, George Scott-Toft, is at the helm of the South American restaurant, Yopo. Jumera is a chilled, contemporary bar, which includes a glamorous garden. Plus, Waeska Bar offers expertly crafted cocktails and DJs.
The Mandrake recently opened a new spa, Damu. The state-of-the-art venue spans 700 square feet and offers a space that can accommodate up to 12 people at once. The spa includes the Tala Fustok Studio, Waveness Wellness Pool and more.
The bar will be open on Thursday from 4pm to 3am, and Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 3am.
