Located on Brixton Road, it will offer events around the clock.
London never sleeps. Now, that is coming to life in the new 24-hour nightlife venue, Brixton Storeys. Located on Brixton Road, it will welcome local and international DJs, and have a music and alcohol licence around the clock.
Brixton Storeys is the borough’s first 24-hour nightlife venue, as it can play music and serve alcohol at any given hour. The new venue is located in the former pub, The Prince of Wales. Now, it has been refurbished and reopened as an entertainment venue.
Brixton Storeys will be able to accommodate up to 750 people and will feature different areas. The Red Room includes immersive lighting and acoustic technology. The Boudoir is a secret indoor space. The Sky Terrace includes a DJ booth and retractable roofs.
Brixton Storeys’ owner, Stevie Thomas, explained: “We wanted to bring a fresh narrative to Brixton nightlife but stay connected to the area’s heritage. This iconic venue is perfect for that and has been fully renovated with a new perspective that brings it right up to date. Along with transforming the main club into the Red Room, which will bring all sorts of exciting headline artists, there will also be a real focus on events with emerging artists.”
Throughout the year, Brixton Storeys will host a range of events. In April, the events include Aavesham Night on 12 April, A Tribute to Alfredo – Balearic Beat on 18 April, and the Connection Party on 19 April. Lookout for events that run throughout the night, and finish in the early hours of 3am, 4am and 5am.
