Dishes range from Beef Shin Ragu to Ricotta Doughnuts.

Fashion and food are coming together. Trullo has launched a residency at Harvey Nichols. Running for three months, diners will have the chance to experience the Islington restaurant in the Knightsbridge department store. Launching on 3 March, here’s how to enjoy the taste of Italy in the heart of London.

Trullo prides itself on its Italian food, and will be shifting to Harvey Nichols while its original venue undergoes a renovation. Located on The Fifth Floor, Trullo’s Harvey Nichols menu has been created by Chef Conor Gadd and will boast signature dishes. Mains include Chopped Beef Fillet with rosemary and anchovy, Grilled Asparagus with butter and bottarga, and Beef Shin Ragu with pici cacio e pepe. Desserts include Amalfi Lemon Tart, Panna Cotta and Ricotta Doughnuts.

Trullo Harvey Nichols

At the Trullo and Harvey Nichols residency, diners will be able to try an Italian list of wines. The wines include Trullo’s own label, Gavi and Chianti, which you can also buy in the store.

In 2010, Trullo opened in Islington. The team pride themselves on creating simple, seasonal dishes. The kitchen creates fresh, handmade pasta, which is rolled out a few minutes before service. Plus, the fish and meat are cooked over burning coals.

On the original Trullo menu, the offerings span antipasti, primi, oven, grill, sides, dessert and cheese. The menu is based on seasonal ingredients and changes on a regular basis. Dishes include Pappardelle with Beef Shin Ragu, Ravioli of Delica Pumpkin and Tagliarini with chopped St Austell.
