Located in Canada Water, it brings together food, drink and jazz.

London has welcomed the new food hall, Corner Corner. Located in Canada Water, it aims to bring together food, culture and a community, all under one roof. The concept has been created by the same team behind Drumsheds and the now-defunct Printworks.

The Drumsheds team are famous for creating entertainment experiences in unexpected places – an IKEA in Tottenham, anyone? The line-up included Craig David, Skepta and Sugababes. Plus, Printworks was previously a nightclub and events space in South London.

Now, the team have come together to launch Corner Corner. The venue has taken over a shopping centre in Surrey Quays, and has reopened as a food hall. The space spans more than 50,000 square feet, accommodates more than 2,000 people, and overlooks Canada Dock.

At the heart of Corner Corner is the food and drink stalls. The venue also hosts live music events and workshops, which include live jazz music and ticketed shows on the weekend. Plus, it will be home to London's largest indoor vertical urban farm, and create hyper-local ingredients, which are used for the meals.

Corner Corner has welcomed a range of concepts. Chick N Sours marks its first location south of the river. Jou Jou's Bites offers bao buns and Taiwanese rice bowls. Masa Tacos creates tortillas made with Mexican heirloom corn. Sireli is an all-day café and restaurant, which puts Armenian small plates and flatbreads in the spotlight.

Upcoming events at Corner Corner include Jackson Mathod on 19 April, Gab Quartet on 20 April, and Nick Etwell Trio on 25 April.

The food hall is open from Thursday to Saturday from noon to 10pm, and Sunday from 11am to 8pm. The bar is open on Thursday from noon to midnight, Friday from noon to 1.30am, and on Sunday from 11am to 10pm.
