The French concept will be located on Regent Street.
The French restaurant Richoux is coming back to London this September. Located on Regent Street, it will return as a Parisian-inspired patisserie and all-day restaurant.
Established in 1909 by Monsieur Richoux, the original restaurant was housed on the esteemed Baker Street. Now, over a century later, the new London flagship will be offering an all-day menu filled with French culinary classics and international dishes, all inspired by Parisian café culture.
All Richoux café and patisserie sites were subject to Covid closures back in 2021, briefly returning with a restaurant opening in Piccadilly, which also closed a couple of years later.
Under the new ownership of Big Belly Hospitality, Richoux is back for round three. Taking over the space that recently housed Pizzeria Mozza, the new brand and vision will present a trendy, Parisian-style all-day café. The interior design will feature wood panelling, white marble tabletops, and deep navy leather banquettes.

Menu items include a sharing plate of 36-day dry-aged ribeye, croque monsieur, and steak tartare prepared tableside. Desserts will include patisserie and viennoiserie served from a trolley (very French), alongside wine and cocktail lists focusing on French sources and styles. A reasonably priced set lunch and pre-theatre menu will also be available.
This is the first Richoux, and part of a wider rollout plan. A second branch is already set for Tower Bridge. Big Belly Hospitality plans to go international, with branches opening in Dubai and Saudi Arabia next year.
