London, things are about to get tasty. Metropolis London, a new food hall, is opening in Vauxhall. Located in Albert Embankment’s Railways Arches, it will bring street stalls together under one roof. So, if you’re after a hip hangout, here’s what you need to know.

Metropolis London is set to open in May and will be home to a range of restaurants and bars. The concept describes itself as offering new street food, covering cuisines from around the world.

The vendors include Birria Taco for Californian meets Mexican tacos; Chipsy for BBQ and fries; Gelato Lab for ice cream; Fresco Trattoria Pizzeria for Neapolitan-inspired pizzas; Karapincha for family-friendly Sri Lankan food; Lorenzo Kusina for soul food with a Filipino twist; O’Gosht for American meets Middle Eastern food; OshPaz for Unzebkistan-style dumplings; Sexy Buns for buns and sandwiches; and Sekushi for Pan Asian cuisine.

Metropolis London will also be home to a bar and entertainment. The venue will host bingo nights, live music and sports screenings. We’re expecting spectacular summer sporting events, from the FA Cup Final to the Wimbledon tennis tournament, to be screened at the venue.

Food halls are clearly all the rage in London. Arcade Food Hall, which can be found in Battersea Power Station and Tottenham Court Road, has a firm following. The destination brings together food, drink and music all under one roof.  Plus, the concept will soon be making its way to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
