The Italian restaurant will be located in The BoTree Hotel.
LAVO is making its way from Los Angeles to London. The celebrity favourite is now coming to The BoTree Hotel, which will be located between Marylebone and Mayfair. Scheduled to open in September, here’s what to expect.
The Italian restaurant LAVO first opened in West Hollywood, Los Angeles in 2022. The venue has welcomed celebrity guests including Kim, Khloe and Kendall Kardashian, Hilary Duff and Mario Lopez.
LAVO in London aims to serve sophisticated Italian cuisine with a coastal flair. The Chief Culinary Officer Ralph Scamardella and Culinary Director Stefano Lorenzini are behind the menu. The team pride themselves on creating fresh pasta and whole grain pizzas.
If the original menu is anything to go by, London is in for a treat. The signature dishes include homemade pastas such as Tagliatelle al Limone with caviar, marjoram and sweet butter, Salt Baked Mediterranean Seabass, and Wagyu Meatballs topped with whipped ricotta.
Tao Group Hospitality is working on the London launch. The company is also behind hospitality hits, which include the critically acclaimed restaurants Hakkasan and Yauatcha. So far, we know that The BoTree hotel will be home to 199 rooms, and aims to be a chic spot in the city.
The BoTree hotel will also house The BoTree Bar, which will be a vibrant space. The décor boasts colour-changing lights, golden walls and a teal marble bar. Plus, Stefano will curate the bar menu, which features dishes ranging from Caviar Sandwiches to True Grilled Cheese.
