Good news Londoners. The city's food scene is about to be amped up with a fantastic new addition. Get ready to give a round of applause to CLAP London, which is opening on Friday, 12 January, in the prestigious Knightsbridge neighbourhood. A superstar in the culinary world that's loved and praised by big shots like the Michelin Guide and The World's 50 Best MENA, this eatery already has flagship restaurants wowing gourmands in Beirut, Dubai and Riyadh,
CLAP London is setting up shop in a seriously cool spot, inside a revamped tube station — just a stone’s throw from Harrods. And it’s not just one floor but three levels of culinary delights – each with its own unique vibe.
The ground floor is about that cafe life, perfect for a quick, laid-back meal. On the second floor, things get fancy with a restaurant lounge that offers an elegant and immersive dining experience. The cherry on top is the third floor, where you can soak up the stunning views of London from the rooftop bar. You can sip your drink and take in the jaw-dropping panoramic sights with both indoor and terrace seating.
Chef Renald Epie is leading the restaurant with over 25 years of French culinary wizardry. He will guide diners on a voyage through the traditions and flavours of Japan. Imagine sinking your teeth into Hokkaido Scallops and foie Gras bites or Wagyu Beef Tartare and biwa Caviar – and that's just the start. The menu also boasts Roasted Tamara King Crab Leg as the opening act, followed by the finest Nigiri, Sashimi, signature rolls, and Nama delights. Sea Bass Amapeno and Pistachio Crusted Baby Chicken with yuzu and daikon are also making a grand entrance.
The bar team, like musical maestros, will shake and stir up classics and creative concoctions that are as imaginative as they come. From the smoky and complex Tokashi-Gawa to the silky Detective Conan, there's a sip for every occasion and palate.
CLAP has been shaking things up and blowing minds since opening in Beirut. And Londoners are in for a real treat as CLAP spreads its wings outside of the MENA region for the first time.
