Fotia will makes its debut in the United Kingdom.
A new Greek restaurant called Fotia is set to open in the heart of Marylebone, London, in August. The restaurant will bring with it a warm Mediterranean spirit and a menu inspired by the flavours of the Aegean.
Opening on 1 August on Marylebone Lane, the London location marks Fotia’s second branch, following the success of its flagship restaurant in Singapore. Known for its authentic Greek recipes and vibrant hospitality, Fotia has earned a reputation overseas, and its London opening is already generating excitement among food lovers and Hellenic culture enthusiasts alike.

The Marylebone restaurant promises to carry forward the same charm, culinary integrity, and welcoming atmosphere as its Singapore counterpart. While full details are yet to be revealed, the London menu is expected to include some of the Singapore branch’s favourites. Dishes include artichoke salad, imam bayildi, moussaka, Santorini fava, Aegean aubergine, homemade dips, and freshly baked bread.
A sweet finish might include decadent desserts like baklava, künefe, chocolate soufflé, and a selection of house-made ice creams. Fotia also prides itself on accommodating a wide range of dietary requirements. Plus, it offers an extensive vegetarian mezze offering, gluten-free options, and more.
‘Fotia’ means ‘fire’ in Greek, hinting at the restaurant’s focus on flame-grilled meats and seafood prepared with traditional techniques. Owner Mihalis Hatzinas shared: “Our Fotia in London is opening its doors with the same recipe and the same passion. It is an honour and a pleasure to welcome you to our new home.”
