Kiji is scheduled to open in 2026.
Located at Mayfair’s 60 Curzon, Kiji will showcase the epitome of Korean cuisine and culture, and is the first UK restaurant from acclaimed New York duo Ellia and Junghyun Park.
The pair are behind the internationally acclaimed Atomix in New York, which was more recently celebrated as the number one restaurant in North America and sixth best in the world, according to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Exemplifying this same innovative atmosphere that pushed Atomix onto the international stage, Kiji aims to take visitors on a unique culinary journey, strengthening Mayfair’s reputation as a gastronomic hotspot.
Kiji will be located on the corner of Curzon Street and Bolton Street, and set across 8,000 square feet, complete with a bar, lounge and private chef room. The restaurant will occupy the building that was once home to gastronomy icon Mirabelle, an institution that was visited by Orson Welles, Elizabeth Taylor and Winston Churchill.
The eight-storey property in the centre of Mayfair, which celebrated its completion in June 2024, has been professionally created as a nod to the Art Deco heritage of the site, with interior design by esteemed French architect Thierry Despont. The property also features 32 private residences, with over 50 percent having been sold so far.
Charles Leigh, Director, said: “This is another exciting chapter in the history of the icon that is 60 Curzon, and we are honoured to be involved in this moment: this team’s first foray into the UK after their outstanding successes globally. Not only are we welcoming a world-renowned restaurant into the development, but we are also paying tribute to the extraordinary legacy that came before. Kiji’s opening will play a pivotal role in the rebirth of Mayfair and positioning 60 Curzon as a must-visit destination in London.”
