All of the remarkable restaurants coming to Raffles London at The OWO

Check out the dining destination’s new concepts, from fine dining to afternoon tea.

If the walls of Raffles London at The OWO could talk, we would love to listen. The hotel is located in a Grade II building, completed in 1906, and once a War Office and home for English monarchs. The site was visited by the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and inspired Ian Fleming’s James Bond.

Today, the building has been meticulously transformed into Raffles London at The OWO, which is set to open in style this summer. While it will be home to 120 luxurious rooms and suites, and 85 residences, it will also boast cafés, restaurants and bars. So, if you want to dine like British icons, check out this dining destination.

Café Lapérouse

The Parisian brand is making its London debut. Laperouse can trace its roots back to 1766, and can be found in Hotel de la Marine in Paris. Located in the courtyard, it has indoor and outdoor seats. Since this is London and the weather is unpredictable, there is a pavilion to keep you sheltered from the rain.

Benjamin Patou, Moma Group Founder and CEO, explained: ‘We are truly honoured and delighted to be partnering with The OWO for our very first London opening. Cafe Laperouse will bring its own sophisticated French presence to a London audience, which will excite, amaze and thrill diners. This will be a truly indulgent and different experience, offering a theatre of showstopping signature dishes served in stunning, opulent surrounds.”

Creative Restaurant Group

Endo and Michal Zelman’s Creative Restaurant Group is bringing new concepts to Raffles London at The OWO. Two of the venues draw their inspiration from the Far East, and include a Japanese-influenced rooftop restaurant and ground floor Sake Bar. Plus, Langosteria at the OWO will open in the hotel.

Enrico Buonocore, founder at Langosteria, added: “I am delighted to announce the launch of our first Langosteria in the UK. It has been a long-term dream of mine to have a restaurant in London and The OWO is the perfect venue for us to make our debut. Each project we undertake is totally unique and Langosteria at The OWO will offer an unrivalled seafood experience – we’re confident it will be one of the best in the capital.”

Chef Mauro Colagreco

Mauro has been awarded three MICHELIN Stars for his restaurant Mirzaur in the French Rivieria, and is hoping to bring some of that foodie magic to Raffles London at The OWO. The Argentinian chef will oversee three of the hotel’s restaurants.

Mauro Colagreco at the OWO is a fine dining experience, which is focused on hyper-local and hyper-seasonal cuisine. Mauro’s table is a chef’s table experience, which includes bespoke tastings and is set in a room packed with stories. Plus, Saison offers an all-day Mediterranean menu and is located in a restored atrium.

Colagreco said: “The incredible location, combined with the professionalism of the Raffles London team, convinced me that this was the ideal time and place to launch for the first time in London with concepts that will be tailor-made for Raffles.”

Paper Moon

Paper Moon brings authentic Italian flavours to London. The all-day restaurant will serve an eclectic yet seasonal menu. The Milanese restaurant can already be found in Doha, Hong Kong and Istanbul, and is now coming to the capital. So, we’re expecting the menu to include dishes ranging from Homemade Ravioli to Raw Red Shrimp.

The Drawing Room

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in The Drawing Room. The restaurant overlooks Whitehall, which is the home of the Prime Minister in 10 Downing Street. While parliament is busy working, you can relax in the venue – it’s also home to a traditional British afternoon tea.

The Guards Bar

Raffles London at The OWO’s main bar will be The Guards Bar. Here you can raise a glass or three, and indulge in some people watching. The venue will serve both hotel guests and visitors, and the spectacular setting overlooks Horse Guards Parade. The Insta-worthy sight is home to the pomp and pageantry.

The Spy Bar

We love a speakeasy bar, so are excited to hear about this hidden bar. Located in rooms once occupied by the MI5, you can unleash your inner 007. So far, we know that the site was frequented by the likes of Mansfield Cummings, the chief of Secret Intelligence and the inspiration for M in the James Bond books. Plus, Ian Fleming himself came up with the idea for the British spy within these walls.
