Fans of the singer Lewis Capaldi are in for a treat. He has just announced his biggest headline tour in the United Kingdom and confirmed that he will be headlining BST Hyde Park in 2026. The event will take place on 11 July in Hyde Park.
Lewis hails from Glasgow, Scotland. As a child, he learnt to play the guitar and soon began performing gigs in pubs. In 2019, he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which spent six weeks at the top of the UK Albums Chart. Lewis' debut song, "Bruises," was so successful that it racked up twenty-five million streams on Spotify – all before he had even signed a record deal. Since then, he has gone on to achieve success both at home and internationally.
The crowd-pleaser "Someone You Loved" reached number one on the American charts. The song earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Song of the Year and a win at the 2020 BRIT Awards for Song of the Year.
Lewis Capaldi's upcoming tour dates cover the United Kingdom and Ireland. He will perform at Marlay Park in Dublin on 24 June, at Thomond Park in Limerick on 26 June, and at Powderham for TX Maxx presents Live on 28 June. He will then perform in Cardiff at Blackweir Fields on 30 June, Leeds for American Express presents Roundhay Festival on 4 July, and in Belfast at Vital on 20 August.
Previous editions of BST Hyde Park have seen performances from Andrea Bocelli, Kings of Leon, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, Shani Twain, Stevie Nicks, Stevie Wonder and SZA.
