The Camden line-up includes grime act President T.

Egypt’s rising star, Samar Tarik, is coming to London. The singer is performing at Dingwells in Camden on 25 February. The show is part of Connecting Cultures: Samar Tarik and President T, and here’s how you can get tickets.

Samar grew up in Egypt, and had a passion for music. She struggled to find opportunities for female artists in her home country. She started playing the guitar when she was 12 years old, and writing songs that expressed her emotions.

Samar sings in Arabic, and her sound blends together Western and Eastern influences. Over her career, she has also experimented with a range of genres. Her songs include 3atma, B Ra7eli, Lama Baedna, LW, Makany and Sifr.

The British grime artist President T will also be taking to the stage. Born and raised in Tottenham, London, he is famous for his drum and bass meet jungle sounds. He was previously a member of the group Merdian, and later worked as a solo artist. His songs include House & Pop, King of Grime, and Teacher’s Pet.

Upcoming shows at Dingwells include Courting on 9 February, Simply Dylan on 10 February, Piqued Jacks on 14 February, P.P. Arnold on 17 February, The Luka State on 8 March, Diezelbud on 16 March, The Bluetones Acoustic on 19 April, Old Habits Die Hard on 25 May, and La Konga on 26 May.

Tickets to see Samar Tarik in London are available now. Early bird tickets start from £26.40, and early bird with a meet and greet start from £45.48.
