The New Tour is coming to London’s The O2. 

American hitmaker Childish Gambino has dropped dates for his world tour. The New Tour will take place in America, Australia, Europe and New Zealand. The star will perform at London’s The O2 on 30 November and 1 December. If you want to see him in action, here’s how to get hold of tickets.

Childish Gambino’s The New Tour announcement coincides with his new album, Atavista. The original album was called 3.15.20, and was released quietly on streaming services in March 2020 but taken down 12 hours later. His fourth album includes guest appearances from 21 Savage, Ariana Grande, Ink and Kadhja Bonet. 

Childish Gambino, real name Donald Glover, was born in California and raised in Georgia. He studied at New York University, and was hired by comedian Tina Fey to write for the show, 30 Rock. He is a multitalented performer and worked as an actor, comedian, director, singer and producer. He has appeared in the films Magic Mike XXL, Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Lion King. In 2011, he signed to Glassnote Records and released his debut album, Camp. His songs include 3005, Redbone and This is America

When Childish Gambino performs in London, he will be supported by Amaare. She is an American star of Ghanaian descent and was born in the Bronx, New York. She was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and fuses together afrobeats, pop and R&B. 

Tickets for Childish Gambino at The O2 are available from 17 May at 10am.
