Emirates launches extra flights to Gatwick Airport.

Dubai-based airline Emirates has confirmed the addition of a fourth daily flight between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and London Gatwick Airport (LGW). The move aims to broaden options for travellers and boost capacity along one of its most popular corridors.

From Sunday, 8 February 2026, Emirates will operate a total of 12 daily flights between Dubai and London, serving three airports: Gatwick, Heathrow, and Stansted – as well as 140 weekly services across eight UK destinations. Emirates flight EK069 will depart at 5:05 pm GST and arrive at London Gatwick at 8:50 pm local time. The return flight, also EK069, will depart London Gatwick at 11:55 pm local time and land in Dubai at 11:00 am GST.

All flights on this route will be operated by the airline’s newest aircraft, the Airbus A350-900 –the latest addition to the Emirates fleet. London Gatwick will become the second UK destination to be served by the A350, following Edinburgh earlier this year.

The cabin layout features 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy seats. Business Class passengers will benefit from wireless charging, while Premium Economy offers electric window blinds for enhanced comfort.

Tickets for the new services are already available for booking. However, flight schedules remain subject to slot approvals or operational adjustments. Passengers are advised to check details closer to their travel dates.

The new evening departures from Dubai allow passengers to make the most of their day before travelling. The late-night departures from Gatwick offer seamless connections for morning arrivals in Dubai – ideal for both business and leisure itineraries.

Emirates continues to grow its presence in the UK. The airline serves airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
