Maison Ghibli stocks items ranging from postcards to plushies.

It’s time to get Spirited Away. The award-winning Studio Ghibli is opening a store on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge. The Maison Ghibli London pop-up will run from 15 November to 11 January 2026. So, whether you’re a long-time fan or just discovering the Japanese animation studio, here’s how to join the fun.

Maison Ghibli London will stock a curated range of official products sourced directly from Japan. The collection includes plushies of beloved characters, from No-Face in Spirited Away to Jiji in Kiki’s Delivery Service. Other items on offer include calendars, candles and postcards. If you’d like to capture the moment, there’s a photo opportunity by the shop window. Plus, there are mini figures, models, puzzles and stationery.

Studio Ghibli, based in Koganei, Tokyo, has made a name for itself around the world. Its films include My Neighbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki is behind many of the studio’s classics, which have achieved both critical and commercial success.

If you’d like to get into the Studio Ghibli spirit, watch one of its many films. The Boy and the Heron follows a boy named Mahito Maki during the Second World War. After his mother dies, he discovers an abandoned tower and enters a fantastical world with a talking heron. Howl’s Moving Castle, based on the book of the same name, is set in a fictional kingdom during a war. A witch casts a spell on a young girl named Sophie, turning her into an elderly woman.
