Alexandra Palace will welcome Ally Pally Rooftop Adventure.

Alexandra Palace will open the highest roof walk in the country on 14 February 2026. The Summit: The Ally Pally Rooftop Adventure experience will offer skyline views of the city from 130 metres above sea level.

Visitors will be able to climb right to the top of Alexandra Palace, an iconic London landmark, led by specialist guides. Traversing up towards the Angel of Plenty statue, visitors will be treated to uninterrupted panoramic views of London. Stretching up to 25 miles, the experience includes landmarks such as St Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard, Canary Wharf and various major sports stadiums.

Ally Pally Rooftop

This exciting new immersive experience has been created by urban aerial adventure company Wire and Sky. This is the same team behind the Dare Skywalk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Liverpool’s Anfield Abseil and the Cutty Sark rig climb.

Lucy Fenner, Commercial Director at Alexandra Palace, said: “For more than 150 years, Ally Pally has been the People’s Palace – a place where everyone can come to experience something truly special – and we’re thrilled to add Summit to that legacy. This new rooftop adventure, the highest roof walk in the UK, offers a completely new perspective on the Palace, with stunning panoramic views across London.

“Summit is an exciting and significant addition to our year-round destination, set to attract new visitors from further afield while offering even more reasons to spend time at Alexandra Park and Palace. And of course, not only is Summit the highest, we’re also the only palace you can actually walk over!”

Three different types of climbs will be available: daytime climbs, sunset climbs and after-dark climbs. Tickets are priced from £22 per person. If you’re hoping to take pictures, there is an additional £7.50 charge for a phone pouch.
