Partner Content: Art Paris will hold exciting exhibitions in April.

Art Paris, the celebration of modern and contemporary art, returns this spring. Running from 8 to 12 April, it takes place under the magnificent glass roof and along the balconies of the Grand Palais. Now in its 28th edition, the fair will welcome around 165 French and international galleries from approximately 20 countries.

Art Paris brings together an inspiring programme that champions the French art scene and encourages lively exchanges with artists and galleries from across the globe. This year, there are two themes: Babel – Art and Language in France, curated by Loïc Le Gall, which explores the richness of language and systems of signs within contemporary French art; and Reparation, curated by Alexia Fabre, which considers this artistic practice rooted in care, resilience and continuity.

Babel – Art and Language in France showcases 20 artists. The works reflect the depth, mystery and playful complexity of systems that shape contemporary art in France. Reparation invites visitors to discover contemporary art through a powerful lens of renewal and repair. The section highlights 20 international artists, each approaching the idea in their own way.

Art Paris offers a rich programme of additional events. Visitors can explore the Solo Show, Promises and French Design Art Edition sectors. Throughout the fair – both in the main galleries and the emerging gallery sector – 24 monographic exhibitions offer a chance to discover rising artists. There are also prizes, exhibitions, and a schedule of talks and conferences.

Promises shines a spotlight on the next generation of galleries, welcoming 27 galleries established in the last decade. Located on the southern balconies of the Grand Palais, the section is curated by Marc Donnadieu, a member of the Art Paris selection committee and an independent exhibition curator. Design returns to the north balconies of the Grand Palais nave and features new names in design and interior design.

Art Paris 2026 promises to be an inspiring event – a place where ideas, creativity and cultures meet.
