Press, pour and party – sample more than 100 wines at Vagabond Wines.
Canada Water is set to welcome London’s biggest winery, Vagabond Wines. Located in the Docklands, the new venue will be a top spot for wine enthusiasts, featuring more than 100 wines on tap. Scheduled to open in December, it will be located at The Dock Shed.
Founded in 2010, Vagabond began as a small wine shop in Fulham, quickly growing in popularity thanks to its unique concept. The idea first came to Stephen Finch while studying for his MBA in London. A passionate wine lover, he was excited to move from New York and eager to discover new and interesting wines.
Today, Vagabond operates nine wine bars across London and two outside the capital, each serving more than 100 wines by the glass, as well as its Urban Winery at Battersea Power Station.

Vagabond Wines is best known for its self-pour wine dispensers. Created in an Enomatic-style system, they allow guests to sample a wide range of wines and serve themselves. The new venue will also host tasting events, masterclasses and private hire spaces.
The urban winery in Canada Water will have the capacity to produce up to 100,000 bottles of wine each year, allowing Vagabond to quadruple its current production. Managing Director Christobell Giles said, “This urban winery is unlike anything we’ve done before. It’s a cathedral to wine.”
Vagabond already produces award-winning English wines – and its Solena recently won Best English Still Wine at the Independent Wine Awards.
