Magazine Open-Air takes place throughout August.

Get ready to dance on air. Magazine Open-Air will be opening a roofless dance floor – yes, really. Taking place throughout August, it will be located at a never-before-used riverside site on the Greenwich Peninsula, boasting beautiful views of the capital’s dramatic skyline.

Magazine Open-Air has been created by Broadwick Live, the same team behind Printworks and Drumsheds. The latest project sounds ambitious – and promises to be one of the most Insta-worthy, FOMO-inducing moments of the summer.

The series kicks off on 14 August with Our House, featuring Italian trio Meduza and house favourite James Hype. On 15 August, it welcomes Josh Baker and Max Dean, offering a chance to catch top homegrown electronic music acts. On 16 August, there is a special celebration: 15 Years: The Soulection Experience. Soulection blends R&B, hip-hop and soulful electronic sounds.

On 21 August, techno titans Amelie Lens and Sara Landry will deliver the European debut of their highly anticipated back-to-back set. On 22 August, Purple Disco Machine brings his irresistible blend of disco and modern house. The series closes on 23 August, with the final act yet to be announced.

Broadwick Live Managing Director Luke Huxham said: "We’ve been excited about the potential of this project for some time. Built on a foundation of unique programming, ambitious production, and obsessive attention to detail, Open-Air sits on the bank of the River Thames at Greenwich Peninsula, bringing people closer to London’s iconic skyline than ever before.

Today, people want layered experiences with high production value and thoughtful curation. Open-Air is our answer to that. The stage and site have been designed to show London from a completely new perspective, delivering something truly unique for both our guests and artists."
