Esmeralda's Mayfair will be located at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair.
Get ready for a night of music. Esmeralda’s Mayfair, a live-music and late-night lounge, opens in December. Set on Hanover Square in Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London, it draws inspiration from the golden age of New York’s nightlife.
Identical twins Lee and Nicky Caulfield founded Esmeralda’s Mayfair and created it in partnership with Mandarin Oriental Mayfair. From Thursday to Saturday, a six-piece band takes the stage with a mix of disco, funk and soul. Between sets, the DJ keeps the tempo high.
Esmeralda’s Mayfair promises a theatrical setting that blends vintage charm with contemporary décor. Burnt-orange velvet curtains frame the room and lead into an intimate space. The softly lit bar glows with quiet warmth, and the walls feature the lounge’s record monogram.
The menu delivers classic comforts with a luxurious twist. Choose from caviar-topped chicken nuggets, Wagyu sliders, lobster rolls, oyster towers, and skinny fries served on silver. Meanwhile, the cocktail list honours timeless favourites, and includes fine wines, Champagne and rare spirits.
Co-Founder, Lee Caulfield, explained: "The most exclusive places aren't the ones you show off; they are the ones you don't have to. Esmeralda’s will be a place for guests to disappear for hours, let their hair down and feel completely themselves. No cameras, no performance – just the best live music, service and a sense of freedom you cannot manufacture."
Co-Founder, Nicky Caulfield, added: "We’ve obsessed over sound and space: the band is close, the mix is warm, and the room invites you in. It’s a place where artists can take risks and guests can disappear for hours without a phone in sight."
