The original Bunga Bunga welcomed A-listers, from Prince Harry to Margot Robbie.

The nightlife venue Bunga Bunga made a name for itself in London, welcoming celebrities including Cara Delevingne, Margot Robbie, and Prince Harry. Now, it’s set to relaunch as Bunga 90. Located in Covent Garden, the venue opens on 18 September.

Bunga 90 offers a nostalgic experience paying tribute to the 1990s. Following a dramatic revamp, the Drury Lane venue now features karaoke, retro cocktails, and fully loaded pizzas. Guests begin on the ground floor, which resembles an old-school video shop, decked out with VHS tapes, SEGA consoles and CRT TVs.

Step through the Adults Only curtain and into the Pepsi Time Machine. From there, explore an American-style family home and a teenager’s bedroom filled with fairy lights and posters. Finally, make your way to the buzzing main bar, framed by TVs looping 90s cult classics.

Inside Bunga 90, you’ll find a functioning arcade claw machine that makes cocktails, and a Jurassic Park pinball machine. Plus, there’s London’s smallest warehouse rave, held hourly in the toilets, complete with UV lights, smoke, and classic 90s dance anthems.

Drinks include Cosmos and Appletinis from £9. Keep an eye out for quirky glasses shaped like celebrities heads, from Britney Spears to Will Smith. Lookout for the classic Nokia phone. If you’re ready to channel your inner Shania Twain, karaoke is available in private rooms and on the main stage. A bottomless 90s brunch will also run every Saturday.

Inception Group co-founder Charlie Gilkes said: “We are hugely excited to be launching Bunga 90. We opened the original Bunga Bunga back in 2011, and this is a complete reimagining of the brand – while still keeping the pizzas, karaoke, and sense of fun that people know and love. Bunga 90 is both a love letter to the 1990s and a bold new chapter.”
