The late-night event kicks off on 20 February 2026.
Get ready to dance the night away. The Barbican has announced anyone can dance, a brand-new series of late-night parties celebrating dance, community and global diaspora. Launching in 2026, the five-event programme invites everyone onto the dance floor, transforming the Barbican’s level one foyer into a high-energy party space open until 3am. The first event will take place on Friday, 20 February and will be curated by Eastern Margins.
Following two sold-out late-night parties in 2025, hosted by Rinse FM and Club Stamina, anyone can dance continues the momentum. The series celebrates club music from around the world as it is shaped by local diasporas in the United Kingdom. So, if you’d like to learn more about music from around the world, then this is for you.
Eastern Margins, a collective known for championing alternative and grassroots Asian culture, will curate the opening night. The event will spotlight the creative dialogue between diaspora communities and local scenes, with a line-up that includes bedroom-DJ favourite Nick Cheo, Seoul’s Bass Queen KOLLIN, alongside rising stars Jianbo and MEYY.
Founded in 2018, Eastern Margins is a UK-based collective dedicated to celebrating alternative East and South East Asian (ESEA) creativity. Their expansive musical world spans J-Pop, hyperpop, techno, rap, pop-punk, jazz and grime. Most recently, the collective hosted the second edition of their Margins United festival, celebrating ESEA culture, and they now bring those boundary-pushing sounds to the Barbican after hours.
Tickets to the Barbican's anyone can dance event go on general sale on Friday, 23 January at 10am. Check in with FACT for the best things to do in London.
