The Wireless booking arrives on the back of his newly released album BULLY.

Will he or won’t he? It has finally been confirmed: Kanye West has been announced as a headline act for Wireless Festival 2026. Now legally known as Ye, the rapper, producer and fashion disruptor has been confirmed to headline all three days of Wireless Festival, taking over Finsbury Park in London from 10 to 12 July 2026. It marks his first UK live dates in more than a decade.

West first made his name as a producer, helping shape the sound of hip-hop before stepping into the spotlight with The College Dropout and building one of the most influential catalogues in modern rap. Across albums such as Late Registration, Graduation, 808s & Heartbreak and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, he has repeatedly shifted the conversation, not only as a musician but also as a designer, image-maker and cultural provocateur. His reach has always extended beyond records, moving into fashion, visual identity, cementing him as the ultimate creative.

West also remains one of pop culture’s most polarising figures, with public backlash fuelled by inflammatory behaviour and a long list of headline-grabbing incidents that have often overshadowed the music. Earlier this year, Ye issued a public apology in a full-page Wall Street Journal advertisement, saying he had “lost touch with reality.”

The Wireless booking also arrives as attention turns to BULLY, his newly released album. The project had been teased since 2024 and finally landed on 28 March 2026, with tracks including “Preacher Man” and “Beauty and the Beast” forming part of the rollout. West has also insisted the album was made with “no AI” after earlier speculation around his use of artificial intelligence in the creative process.

Kanye West Wireless Festival

Ye’s headline set at Wireless 2026 is expected to draw from his extensive back catalogue, blending early hits with more recent tracks. He is no stranger to the festival. In 2014, his headline performance included a 20-minute on-stage rant and drew a mixed reaction from the audience.

Wireless Festival is filled with surprises. Last year, Drake made history as the first rapper to headline all three nights. He played three different set lists and welcomed a range of acts on stage with him.

The festival has confirmed that more acts are still to be announced, so expect further additions to the bill in the weeks ahead.
