The Webster Covent Garden will be located in Lincoln’s Inn Fields.

London is home to world-class hotels. Now, it is set to welcome the design-led lifestyle hotel brand, The Webster. The Webster Covent Garden is scheduled to open in Lincoln’s Inn Fields in July 2026, and here’s what to expect.

Created for the culturally curious traveller, The Webster Covent Garden brings together thoughtful design, inspiring programming and lively social spaces. Meanwhile, The Webster Times Square in New York is scheduled to open later this year.

If you’re after a digital detox, this could be just the place. The Webster Covent Garden aims to reconnect guests with analogue pleasures and shared moments. From carefully curated libraries to vibrant food and drink destinations, the hotel is designed to nurture genuine connections.

The Webster Covent Garden

The Webster draws inspiration from its surroundings. The new hotel will be located in the heart of literary London. The area counts Charles Dickens among its former residents, as he found inspiration in the surrounding streets.

The Webster Covent Garden has been designed by the London-based architecture and interior design studio, Red Deer. Guest rooms will be serene spaces, featuring warm neutral palettes, textured plank flooring, soft hand-knotted wool rugs and bespoke brass and alabaster light fittings. The thoughtfully curated details range from Marshall speakers to Jacob Jensen telephones.

Food and drink venues sit at the heart of The Webster Covent Garden. The hotel’s Italian-inspired restaurant and speakeasy, Carmelina’s, will be tucked away on the lower ground floor, where guests can enjoy live jazz in the evenings. In the lobby and on the terrace, there will be a café and an aperitivo bar. Meanwhile, Carla’s List, located downstairs, will serve as a late-night Italo-disco hideaway.

Joseph Turano, Chief Operating Officer of The Webster, explained: “We’re absolutely thrilled to introduce The Webster to travellers in both London and New York City. Our aim is to create spaces that spark curiosity, inspire conversation and foster a true sense of belonging – whether that’s lingering over a splendid meal, discovering a new book, or meeting strangers who swiftly become friends.”
