The boutique property will include a brasserie, café and speakeasy.
The Shepherd Hotel is set to open in Mayfair, London. Scheduled to launch in 2026, it will offer a luxury experience in the heart of the city, in the historic Shepherd Market. The development will feature rooms and residences, as well as a café and cocktail bar.
Spanning 33,600 square feet, The Shepherd Hotel will include 82 keys. The site was previously home to the Park Lane Mews Hotel and has now undergone a major redevelopment. The hotel draws inspiration from Mayfair's heritage and its prestigious postcode. The site has been designed by the architecture and interior design practice, Buckley Gray Yeoman and Timothy Shepherd.

The Shepherd Hotel will offer a range of food and drink experiences. Teddy's is a speakeasy cocktail bar serving classic cocktails, and it is set to become a late-night hotspot hidden beneath the hotel. The venue can be accessed via secret entrances, and it is named after Edward Shepherd, the founder of Shepherd Market.
Fayre will be located on the ground floor and is an all-day brasserie offering seasonal dishes. On the walls, there will be artwork by Adam Ellis. Plus, there will be a café in the lobby serving artisan coffee, pastries, light lunches and an extensive drinks list.

The Shepherd Mayfair sits adjacent to 36 and 37 Hertford Street Residences. The site includes a collection of 16 one- and two-bedroom homes. Set across Georgian townhouses, the residences pay homage to the legacy of 17th-century architects Robert Adam and Henry Holland.
The interiors of the hotel will be layered with character and texture, offering an experience that honours the elegance of the past while embracing a modern sensibility. Expect a curated collection of artworks, including pieces by George McLeod and Jack English, and a design ethos rooted in British craft.

Timothy Shepherd, Design Principal for The Shepherd Mayfair, explained: "We created and continually developed the narrative of The Shepherd Mayfair with attention paid to a carefully combined architectural and design approach, and through brand creation. We have taken this thought process into specific areas, from the guest experience, culinary offering, to the cocktail bar.

"The historic "Mansions of Mayfair" where business and pleasure were brought together, in many ways they were the original boutique hotels, where society hosted and commerce created wealth. With this perspective, we have come to look at The Shepherd Mayfair as a modern-day interpretation of that."
