Afghan and Texan flavours unite at Cue Point.

BBQ lovers, we have some sizzling news. The Texan-meets-Afghan BBQ sensation Cue Point is teaming up with The Garden Bar. Now, it will go from a pop-up to a permanent home, opening The Garden Bar Grill and Smokehouse by Cue Point London. Located in White City, it is scheduled to open on 19 April 2026.

The Garden Bar Grill and Smokehouse by Cue Point London has been created by Joshua Moroney and Mursal Saiq. Josh previously worked as Head Chef at Smokestak, and then worked with Mursal to create Cue Point. Since then, they have been feeding crowds around the capital with their popular pop-ups. The concept combines Afghan flavours with classic Texas BBQ techniques.

The Garden Bar Grill and Smokehouse by Cue Point London has unveiled its menu – and it has already got our stomachs rumbling. Meat lovers will be delighted by the dishes. Take your pick from Black Lime and Pepper Chicken; Chilli Citrus Charcoal-Grilled Sea Bass with a rich aubergine-tomato sauce; and Oak-Smoked Wagyu Brisket Steak with Texas naan and saffron butter. Plus, if you want to elevate your dishes, add a touch of caviar.

Specials range from a Wagyu Cheeseburger to Texas Smoked Pies. Desserts show off the inspirations and the combination of flavours, too. The Sticky Toffee Pudding is served with kulfi, and the Maple-Glazed Cornbread comes with sheer yakh. On Sundays, specials include Grilled Chicken Supreme, Oak-Smoked Lamb Shank, Smoked Grilled Aubergine Steak, and a Texas-Afghan Roast with twice-smoked Wagyu rib.
