Singburi's Nick Molyviatis and Arcade’s Barry Karacostas are behind Zylia.
Arcade Covent Garden has announced its upcoming opening in London. The site will be home to a range of cuisines from around the world. Opening on 22 May 2026, it will also welcome Zylia, a restaurant that combines Greek and Cypriot cuisines, created by Singburi’s Nick Molyviatis and Arcade’s Barry Karacostas.
As the first-ever FACT Dining Awards London 2025 were held at Arcade Battersea, we were excited to hear about the expansion of the food hall. Zylia will boast its own entrance and can seat up to 50 people. The space will include a kitchen counter, where diners can watch the chefs at work.
Zylia is headed up by a team that bring their cultures to the table. Nick, born in Athens, is associated with FACT Dining Award winners: he was the former Head Chef at Kiln and co-owner of Singburi. He has also worked at Agora and Oma. Barry Karacostas, who is of Cypriot heritage, has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years. He recently worked at Arcade, overseeing its growth and operations.

The menu at Zylia will draw inspiration from family recipes. The concept focuses on charcoal grilling and includes both hot and cold mezze. Dishes include Grilled Prawn Saganaki with spiced tomato sauce; Melitzanosalata with roasted aubergine, herbs, roasted peppers, and vinegars; and Tyrokafteri with feta with roasted green chilli and yoghurt.
Main dishes will include Chicken Souvlaki, Sheftalia with oregano and lemon, and Vazania with grilled aubergine, spiced tomato sauce, and anari cheese. Dishes also include Lamb Chops with olive oil chips; Lamb Kleftiko; and Whole Grilled Fish. For dessert, expect Karidopita, a walnut cake, and Galaktompoureko, a semolina custard wrapped in filo pastry.
Nick explains: “For me, it’s about capturing the energy of the tavernas I knew in Athens and working with Barry to reflect his Cypriot roots too. We want Zylia to feel warm, generous, and full of life – a place where people feel looked after and can experience a genuine taste of both cultures.”
