Yaprak is located in the heart of Knightsbridge.
London is filled with cuisines from around the world. Now, it is set to welcome Turkish restaurant Yaprak to Knightsbridge. Located within walking distance of Harrods and Hyde Park, it sits close to some of the city’s most iconic sights and shops. If you’re looking to add a new restaurant to your radar, here’s what you need to know.
In Turkish, yaprak means “leaf” and can refer to a plant. The word is also used in dishes such as yaprak sarma (stuffed vine leaves) and yaprak döner (thinly sliced meat). The name is fitting for a restaurant that draws inspiration from Turkey and its rich culinary traditions.
The venue looks set to be an elegant spot, with high pillars, soft beige seating, and wooden tables. The full menu has yet to be revealed, but it is expected to serve traditional Turkish cuisine alongside a range of creative cocktails. Teaser images suggest a mix of classic and inventive drinks, both long and short.
On Instagram, Yaprak has been sharing videos offering a glimpse of what’s to come. One clip features Knightsbridge Station and Harrods. The caption reads: “Something extraordinary is coming soon to your city. Get ready to experience Yaprak London.”

Another shows black cabs and red buses passing the venue, along with glimpses of food and drinks. The caption reads: “Something exciting is cooking in Knightsbridge! We’re bringing you a luxurious Turkish dining experience paired with fun and flavourful cocktails.”
