If it's good enough for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, it's good enough for us.

Shanghai Me London

Situated in the heart of Mayfair, the first Shanghai Me location outside the Middle East opened in the London Hilton, Park Lane, in July this year. Renowned and loved in Dubai for its East Asian cuisine, it only made sense for the successful brand to travel from East to West. Influenced by centuries-old recipes, the menu puts a playful twist on traditional dishes such as Braised Beef Short Rib Shanghai Style, Sesame Prawns on Toast, and Tiger Prawns in Chilli Sauce. Fusing ancient cooking techniques with indulgent flavours, dishes include: Cantonese-style Roast Duck with Foie Gras and Caviar, Spicy Bluefin Tuna Oshizushi and Yellowtail Carpaccio with Black Truffle. Sheikh Mohammed and the UAE royals visited the restaurant during a recent trip to London, where he was greeted by Chef Izu Ani.
