Crisp Pizza's team opens The Malborough in Mayfair.
London is home to some of the most historic pubs in the world. Now, Crisp Pizza has taken over The Marlborough Head and relaunched it as The Marlborough. Located on North Audley Street in Mayfair, it is now open and serving slices, pints, and more. If you’re after a stylish spot, here’s what you need to know.
The Marlborough has been created by a team that includes Carl McCluskey and The Devonshire’s Charlie Carroll, Ashley Palmer-Watts and Oisín Rogers. Carl is no stranger to pubs, as his grandmother once ran The Chancellors in Hammersmith.

Crisp Pizza has built a firm following and achieved cult status for its slices. The New York-style pizzas are thin and crispy. At The Marlborough, the pizzeria will operate downstairs in a speakeasy-style setting, while upstairs will remain a traditional pub.
The Mayfair menu echoes the Hammersmith original, offering eight traditional one-person pies. The Cheese Pie comes with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, Parmesan and Honest Toil EVOO. The Crisp W6 Pie features San Marzano, buffalo mozzarella, Pecorino and Honest Toil EVOO. There will also be four-cheese calzones, bar pies, and Grandma pies for sharing.

Desserts include Fior di Latte soft serve with olive oil, affogato, Nutella calzone, and tiramisu. Drinks include pints of ale, lager and Guinness.
The Marlborough counts some of London’s finest restaurants among its neighbours, with nearby spots including Carbone London, ROKA Mayfair, Nipotina, Mount Street Restaurant and Scott’s.
