Located perfectly between Knightsbridge and Belgravia, the once guest-only rooftop bar is opening to everyone for the summer. This year's theme is Capri in the City, aiming to create a sun-soaked escape inspired by the Italian Riviera. Welcome to The Berkeley Rooftop Bar.
Picture this: sipping refreshing drinks and savouring delectable Mediterranean small plates while soaking up the breathtaking sunset over the magnificent Hyde Park. Step outside and prepare to be mesmerised by the panoramic views. The red brick of Knightsbridge, the crescents of Belgravia, and the expanse of Hyde Park will leave you in awe.
You can book a table in advance or simply nab a striped lounger on a first-come, first-served basis. All that matters is that you have a drink in hand to toast the London summer – that’s if it isn’t raining, of course.
The Capri-inspired evenings bring a taste of the Italian coast to the venue. Malfy Gin leads the cocktail line-up, from the Azzurro di Capri to the Amalfi Gin Granita. Bring a group, as there are superb sharing plates. Dishes include Tomato and Basil Bruschetta, and pizzas served straight from the rooftop oven. For a sweet finish, Tiramisu for two or Amalfi Lemon Sorbet – with a splash of Limoncello – sets the mood just right.
While away the ultimate pool day at The Berkeley with cocktails and small plates. Seasonal picks for poolside dining include perfectly seared Angus beef fillet with artichoke pesto, Dorset crab salad, and melt-in-the-mouth burratina with heritage tomatoes. Summer-ready Margaritas, Mai Tais and Mojitos complete the picture.
