Effie and Nela will be opening in the luxury hotel.

Six Senses London has been awakening our senses. Located in Bayswater, this marks the debut of the luxury hotel brand in the United Kingdom. Scheduled to open this year, it has now announced two new restaurants, Nela and Effie's.

The Whiteley's department store on Bayswater had been closed for years, and is now set to re-open as Six Senses London. The hotel will feature 109 rooms and suites, as well as 14 branded residences. The site will also be home to an Everyman Cinema and Guillam Coffee House. Plus, there will be the Six Senses Spa, fitness area, 65-foot indoor pool, and a relaxation room.

Nela can already be found in Amsterdam and Ibiza, and is now making its way to London. Spanning more than 10,000 square feet, the space will feature a raw bar, wood-fired pizza, grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables. The menu will be created by the chefs, Hari Shetty and Ori Geller.

Effie is by the Pachamama Group, which is already behind a range of restaurants in London. Spanning two floors, it will showcase food from the Aegean coast. Dishes will include chargrilled meats, fish and mezze.

The group's flagship restaurant, Pachamama, first opened in Marylebone in 2014 and later expanded to Shoreditch in 2018. The portfolio includes Bottarga in Chelsea, Nina in Marylebone, and Zephyr in Notting Hill, which also contains the hidden cocktail bar, Naked & Famous. The concept comes from the creatives behind Soraya, which showcases Persian cuisine in Abu Dhabi.
