Gordon Ramsay's Pizza East on Shoreditch High Street will host MICHELIN-starred Pasta Bar from Los Angeles for a two-week pop-up in London from 6 to 20 October. Set in the heart of one of London's liveliest dining districts, the collaboration gives the cult favourite a stage to showcase its omakase-style pasta experience to a new audience on this side of the Atlantic.
Founded by husband-and-wife chef duo Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee, Pasta Bar opened five years ago and quickly became a destination for handmade pasta, inventive sauces, and a spirited counter-service format. The pair secured a MICHELIN star and built a loyal following in short order, and 2025 sees them take the show on the road with a series of international appearances. Shoreditch is their latest stop, and Londoners can expect a tight, seasonally minded menu delivered with the finesse that made the original a sensation.
While the full line-up will be revealed on the day, Pizza East will offer both an à la carte selection and a four-course tasting menu. Early highlights point to King Crab Raviolo with fermented pineapple and macadamia, and Australian Lamb Loin with merguez, cipollini and cherries. In a nod to its host, the pop-up is also set to weave in touches inspired by Pizza East classics.
The tie-up follows Pasta Bar's appearance on Gordon Ramsay's new Apple TV+ series, Knife Edge: Chasing MICHELIN Stars, which premieres on 10 October. Gordon Ramsay stated, "I'm so delighted that Phillip Frankland Lee and his wife Margarita, from LA's very cool, Michelin-starred Pasta Bar are heading to London for a unique collaboration with my team at Pizza East. What a pop-up this will be! I cannot wait to try their delicious menu and the whole Ramsay family will be first in line when it opens next Monday."
