Not Another Jungle is home to gifts, plants and workshops.

Battersea is home to a dazzling development, including the historic Battersea Power Station, shops, restaurants and cafés. Now, it has welcomed Not Another Jungle, which combines a café, store and workshops – and plenty of plants.

Not Another Jungle can already be found in Bedford and Northampton, and it has now opened its first store in the heart of London. Created by Tony Le-Britton, at the heart of the concept is his passion for horticulture. He is the author of the book Not Another Jungle and hopes to add a touch of greenery to the concrete jungle.

Not Another Jungle serves Yellow Bourbon coffee and will also host coffee workshops. With seating indoors and outdoors, it offers a contemporary, casual vibe. If you’re looking to buy a gift, there are items ranging from chocolates to candles, and body and bath products. Plus, the space is both family- and dog-friendly.

Tony explained: “I'm so proud to finally say that my new store will be in the thriving heart of Battersea, London. As a little kid from a council estate in Newcastle, never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that I would be opening my own store in London and continuing my lifelong passion for horticulture and nature as my career.

“Great music, candles burning, and the offer of a coffee when you enter. That's what we are about. Friendly, knowledgeable, but approachable staff whose aim is to make your day, even if you're just popping in for a quick takeaway coffee.”
