The Marylebone restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Marylebone’s dining scene is about to get a vibrant new addition as Noreen prepares to open its doors this June in St Christopher’s Place. Promising to serve fresh, bold Middle Eastern cuisine with a contemporary twist, this new opening is led by Chef Mehdi Hani, whose culinary history includes stints at Harrods and The Dorchester.

Open for lunch and dinner, Noreen will channel the rich culinary traditions of the Arabian Peninsula and the Levant, showcasing the kind of soulful, spice-laced dishes that transport you from London’s West End to the heart of the Middle East. Drawing from his Syrian and Lebanese roots, Chef Mehdi’s menu will feature a variety of slow-cooked meats, chargrilled specialities, flatbreads, and dishes baked in the traditional tanoor oven and over the open flame of the Minqala grill.

The restaurant’s name, Noreen, meaning “two lights” in Arabic, reflects a deeper vision that extends beyond the plate. Noreen has partnered with Ryan Chetiyawardana’s Mr Lyan Studio to craft an innovative beverage programme that matches the depth and creativity of the food menu. Expect vibrant cocktails infused with ingredients such as hibiscus, za’atar, black lime, and tahini—plus a strong emphasis on Arak, the anise-flavoured spirit beloved across the Levant.

Ryan said: "We’ve always loved introducing guests to new flavours and doing so regardless of whether they are in an alcoholic or non-alcoholic form. After learning more about the rich histories and diverse cultures of the Middle East, and discovering the incredible ingredients found across the region, we were excited to introduce these to Londoners in some new forms through cocktails.”

Complementing the drinks list is a curated wine selection, spotlighting labels from Lebanon, Turkey, and the Eastern Mediterranean. And with a cosy outdoor terrace, Noreen is perfectly poised for long summer lunches and laid-back evening dinners.

If you’re looking for a hot new spot to put your feet up after a long day of shopping in the city – look no further.
