Restaurateur Samyukta Nair is behind the new restaurant.
London’s dining scene is about to welcome an exciting new addition. Samyukta Nair, the restaurateur behind Jamavar, Bombay Bustle, Nipotina and the FACT Award-winning MiMi Mei Fair, is set to launch a vibrant new restaurant. Opening in April, MIKO Mei Fair blends MiMi Mei Fair’s signature imagination with the rich culinary heritage of KOYN Thai.
MIKO Mei Fair draws inspiration from fire, flavour and feeling. Designed as a home away from home, the space offers an elegant yet inviting escape. Guests can enjoy sharing plates, lively conversation and a convivial dining experience.

Located on the ground floor of MiMi Mei Fair’s Georgian townhouse in Mayfair, the restaurant will seat up to 50 guests and feature a private dining room for eight. The kitchen will be led by KOYN Thai’s Head Chef, Soonthorn Apaipat. The menu is rooted in the delicate balance of Thai cuisine: freshness, heat, lightness and depth. Diners can expect a journey across Thailand, from the bold, punchy flavours of Isaan to the coconut-rich dishes of the South.
Fire-led cooking sits at the heart of the experience, with a robata-style grill taking centre stage. Highlights include Netted Spring Rolls with tofu and spring onion, Prawns Pla Ra, Toasted Rice Beef Tenderloin, Lobster Choo Chee, and the Apple Wood Fire Peking Duck Penang Curry – a playful pairing of MiMi Mei Fair’s iconic duck with Thailand’s beloved curry.
FACT recently interviewed Samyukta, and she said of her restaurant portfolio: “It’s thoughtfully designed spaces, warm service, and food that’s all about authenticity. You cannot compromise on what you’re serving. People come to you for what they know – and stay for what they don’t. The magic happens on the plate.”
